Ever since I was a kid I knew I wanted to work in this field. I love what I do and I promise to treat your pet like my own.
Jan-Client Care Specialist and Registered Veterinary Technician
After many years of being a single stay at home mom to my only son Patrick, I re-entered the work world in a field where I know I belong - amongst those that love animals as much as I do, and whose main purpose is to heal and keep healthy these special beings. Every day I am blessed with new pets and pet owners that I am privileged to get to know and serve. Come be a part of our family, we will not disappoint!
Dede -Veterinary Technician
On my 32nd birthday I still could not find a profession I wanted to belong to for the rest of my life. Then one day a friend suggested I take a vet assistant class. And now, 16 years later, I can't imagine doing anything else.
Christina has always been an animal lover. She has experience with big, wild cats and small, domesticated ones, too. She loves our patients so much she might just take them all home with her!
Brittany -Client Care Specialist
I have always been an animal advocate and animal lover since I can remember, always bringing home strays and loving every species. I proudly own the title "Crazy Animal Lady" and everyone I know would agree.
With a passion for learning and for animals, I always knew I'd find myself in an animal hospital helping those who can't speak for themselves.
Janice -Inventory Manager
As early as I can remember, I had always had an immense connection and love for all animals, thanks to my mother. I've been an employee at Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital since 1999. Over the course of my years at the hospital, I have worn many hats and had many titles. I am proud to say that I have been able to help many, many animals and clients over the years and I hope to help many more in the future.
Dr. Schexneider has been very happy providing veterinary care and boarding to the Tierrasanta, Kearny Mesa, Clairemont Mesa, Lakeside and San Diego communities. She has been a veterinarian for over a decade with vast experience with internal medicine, pet surgery, and emergency medicine. She is a true San Diego native with military roots, as both her dad and her husband have served in the US Navy. She loves hanging out with her enthusiastically supportive husband, their pack of dogs, and their ridiculously athletic son who keeps them plenty entertained.
